September 20th, 1999, West Chicago, IL and Taufkirchen/Vils Germany entered into a Sister City relationship to promote meetings between the citizens, which will enable them to experience and explore each other's different culture and thus create close relations. To support all opportunities which promote reciprocal cultural, educational, municipal and economical exchanges and projects. To create an atmosphere in which mutual respect will be increased and the regard of different traditions will be strengthened. |
